Alise Kha is a dedicated Ayurvedic Therapist, committed to fostering holistic wellness through natural healing practices.
With a Bachelor of Health Sciences from the University of Sydney and a Diploma in Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultation from the Australasian Institute of Ayurvedic Studies, her journey into wellness was inspired by her personal struggles with physical and mental health challenges from a young age.
Raised in a family of immigrants who fled genocide, Alise’s early life was shaped by resilience amid trauma, socioeconomic hardships, and cultural adaptation. These experiences fuel her commitment to supporting others in their journey towards healing, balance, and inner peace.
Beyond her clinical practice, Alise co-founded Karuna Network IT Solutions in 2022, where she leads strategic initiatives to guide business decisions.
Prior to this, she served as a Policy and Research Officer for the Australian Government, contributing to student wellbeing policies and significant research projects, including the 2015 Australian Burden of Disease Study (ABDS). Her healthcare background also includes roles as a nursing assistant at Bankstown Hospital and as a patient admissions officer at Concord Repatriation General Hospital.
Academically, Alise graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Sydney, receiving multiple awards, including the Dean’s Lists of Academic Excellence and the Honours Scholarship.
She has trained as a yoga instructor and in mindfulness meditation, integrating these practices into her holistic approach.
An active community leader, Alise has served as President of the Mitra Youth Buddhist Network and the University of Sydney Buddhist Society (Unibodhi), as well as Secretary of the Metta Centre.
Driven by a lifelong passion for learning and healing, Alise’s mission is to inspire others to achieve balance and vibrant health through mindful living, compassion, and ancient wisdom.
